Q:

Can I buy your models?

A:

Yes! I produce custom models for clients. So, if you have a dream build in mind, we can make it happen together!

The designs you see published here on my portfolio are not, in most cases, available for direct sale. Most were designed for a specific client, and are one-of-a-kind. Models I construct for personal use generally don't stay together long after I photograph them, since their component parts quickly become useful to my next project(s).

However, I do offer select physical collectibles, as well as digital Build Guides for some of my most popular models, in my store. Go check them out!

If you have interest in purchasing a particular model, let me know and we may be able to find a creative solution, such as building you a new model similar to the design in question, or—if possible—replicating the original model.

Q:

How much does a custom Model cost?

A:

It varies. The budget for a new commissioned model is largely dependent on the size and complexity of the model. A larger and/or more difficult project will take me longer to design, and therefore cost more in labor. Also, larger models require more bricks, and so cost more in materials and shipping.

Q:

Do you make instructions for your models?

A:

Yes! I have put together instruction manuals for select builds from my portfolio, and the number of guides available will continue to grow. You can find these instruction manuals in my store. If you want directions on how to build something not listed in my store, send me a message; sometimes, on commission, I can fabricate a manual for an old design.

Q:

Do you offer building classes, experiences, or in-person appearances?

A:

Yes indeed. I have years’ experience teaching people of all ages through the medium of bricks. LEGO can serve as a tool to help kids refine their engineering, creating, and storytelling skills; it can also be employed as an artistic outlet or mindfulness activity for adults. I truly believe you’re never too old to build!

You can inquire about my teaching availability, and my rates for private students & groups, here.

Q:

Can you record a birthday/special occasion video for my loved one?

A:

Definitely. I handle requests like this through a service called Cameo. You can find my Cameo profile here. A portion of my Cameo proceeds are donated to charity.

Q:

Can I follow your work?

A:

Please do! I go by @aaronbrickdesigner on my social media platforms. Find me using these buttons.

Q:

How much LEGO do you own?

A:

Never enough! If I had to guess, I'd wager around 150,000-200,000 parts in myriad shapes and colors. My collection is always growing, especially when it comes to new and interesting bricks.
